The School Nutrition Association’s 69th Annual National Conference last week in Salt Lake City, Utah marked an exciting time for Minnesota’s own Jean Ronnei! During this year’s conference she was named the 2015-2016 President of the School Nutrition Association.
Ronnei is the Chief Operations Officer at Saint Paul Public Schools right here in Minnesota and now will also represent SNA’s 55,000 school nutrition professional members nationwide.
Our National Sales Director Londa Arnfelt was on-hand to witness this incredible accomplishment. This is what Londa had to say….
I’m so proud to support Jean as she continues in this important national role. I’m confident she will lead SNA with the charisma, professionalism and dedication we’ve long known her to possess through her incredible leadership here in MN. I am excited about what the year will bring with Jean at the helm, enthusiastically taking on this commitment with the vast knowledge she’s gained through her highly regarded career in school nutrition.
Currently Ronnei manages the Transportation, Facilities, Technology Services, Nutrition Services and Security and Emergency Management for Saint Paul Public Schools. Prior to this she served as Director of Nutrition Services.
During her 24 years as Director, Ronnei turned the nutrition department into a nationally renowned school meal program, even earning the 2007 Foodservice Achievement Management Excellence (FAME) Golden School Foodservice Director of the Year Award and many other recognitions.
Learning ZoneXpress is so very proud of Jean Ronnei’s accomplishment of 2015-2016 President of the School Nutrition Association. Congratulations to a well-deserving individual!
