National School Breakfast Week Recipe from Caledonia Mumford CSD - Whole Grain Chocolate Chip Scones

Whole Grain Chocolate Chip Scones

2 cups whole grain flour
1 Tablespoon Baking Powder
1/2 tsp salt
Mix these ingredients into your kitchen aid bowl
Cut in with pastry cutter
8T margarine cold

Stir in
1/3 cup sugar
1 cup Mini Chocolate chips

Stir in
1 cup Plain Greek Yogurt

Stir until dough forms
Pat dough into a large circle about 1 inch thick on a sheet pan
Cut into 8 even pie shape pieces   Separate the pieces
Bake at 375 in convection oven for 20 minutes until golden brown

Glaze with 10 x sugar mixed with vanilla and milk
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 T milk
