ChowKids Cookbook and DVD

The ChowKids Cookbook & Video pairs Brenda Langton, Chef/Owner of Spoonriver Restaurant in Minneapolis MN, and Founder of The Mill City Farmers Market, with the Integrative Medicine Program at Children's Hospitals & Clinics of Minnesota. The video also features Brenda's daughter Celina Kane and 3 young patients from the hospital. Conceived as an entertaining cooking show to be played in-room for the benefit of patients and their families to provide fundamental information on healthy eating. The ChowKids Cookbook offers patients and parents a take home aid to assist them in their ongoing quest for wellness. This is a fun, informal and informative tool for every family, to help educate and illustrate the importance of nutritious food with delicious, simple recipes and techniques on how to shop for and prepare daily meals that are easy to make and delectable to eat.
