Jessica Pool of the Dibble Institute in Berkeley, California along with Communications Director at PREPARE/ENRICH, Amy Olson have recently published PREPARE-ENRICH-INPIRE. This is a curriculum based on research conducted by David Olson, Ph. D. of the University of Minnesota. It is divided into ten, teachable lessons that help teens understand and create healthy relationships. Intended for students in grades 8-12, it focuses on everything from self awareness to marriage and families.
Not only does the curriculum include all ten lesson plans, but there are also handouts, game cards, PowerPoint presentations, assessments, posters and more. The three main topics are:
- Relationships and You
- Dating, Marriage, and Family
- Skill To Help Improve Relationships
If you want to learn more about this program, Dibble Institute's website is offering a couple of free samples! They offer one of the lesson plans as well as a sample journal. We've included the links, so you can take a look.
If any of you readers are familiar with this new curriculum, we'd love to hear your thoughts!
