We wanted to pass on this info from American Association of Family & Consumer Science (AAFCS)...
Sometimes great opportunities come with short timelines, and that is the case with information being shared with you today. AAFCS has received information about the Fidelity Investments Financial Education Grant and believe there to be potential project funding for family and consumer sciences secondary programs, Extension programs, FCCLA, 4-H…or, even better, the collaboration of multiple of these groups working together. This announcement is being disseminated accordingly, leaving to recipients the opportunity to utilize grassroots networks along with financial literacy content and delivery expertise to formulate grant proposals. Despite the short timeline, the good news is that the $100,000 funding level can make initiatives possible that will positively impact both the delivery programs and the students involved.

We hope that there will be strong proposals submitted for this pilot project, facilitating selection for the award of funding. As a way of gauging the effectiveness of this approach to disseminating information about funding opportunities, please let me know if proposals are being submitted.
Thanks, and best wishes for success!
